My wife and I loved our time exploring the Cyclades with Captain Ioannis. He is a wonderful host and shared many stories about the history and people of the islands we visited. He was very helpful with advice for special little places to visit so we could capture some amazing views. We fell in love with Milos and the colorful syrmata. The xora and the people on Sifnos were a special treat. We’re now talking about when we can come back with our kids for this wonderful experience.

Myself and 3 of my friends sailed for two weeks experiencings 16 different amazing islands in 14 days in Greeces Agean Sea. Each island was unique and Yannis our skipper showed us the best each island had to offer. Thank you so much for reaching out! We had such a splendid time aboard Alkistis!! The yacht itself was in such great shape, and we loved that we had so many places aboard to sit and watch the water and coast lines – whether it be in the shade or sun. Those chairs in the front were a fan favorite!

All of us absolutely loved George and Marianthi – they both took such great care of us and were so very personable. George gave us great options and recommendations on islands to visit and swim stops, and once we got to our destination, he continued to take good care of us with restaurant recommendations, transportation, etc. We were also all impressed with his skippering capabilities. Marianthi was also fantastic – she went out of her way to make sure we were all taken care of, and her meals were absolutely delicious.

Overall, a great experience!!! We’re all very happy that we were able to make this trip!!!

We recently had the pleasure of sailing with Sail The Greek Islands. We spent a week sailing among various islands, and we learned quite a bit about sailing in the Greek islands. The Captains unique knowledge of hidden sailing spots and swimming holes was invaluable. The Captain was able to recommend several excellent local restaurants during our trip. He also recommended local sightseeing spots for us to visit and even took us for a private tour of Milos. We were on Sunday Odyssey 35 and even though the quarters were quite close we were able to enjoy each other’s company through his good humor. The captain also gave us extensive lessons in Greek mythology referencing the islands were visiting. It was a wonderful learning experience for both of us. Overall, we would definitely recommend sailing the Greek islands with them and we would definitely recommend requesting Captain Yiannis to be your guide.

We are just back from a week sailing and thoroughly enjoyed it! Aside from a pretty turbulent night near the temple of Poseidon (not sure what we did to upset him?!!!) the weather and seas were beautiful and Captain Yiannis certainly knows his stuff and is an absolute character. My kids (aged 9 & 6) had a blast and my mother also really enjoyed herself. We will definitely try sailing again… thank you Yiannis.
